I wish I was in Abilene...?

I'm not sure how close you are to Abilene but this will be worth checking out.  Don't forget to support your local potter.

The opening is coming up on Friday and you should check it out.  Google maps said it's about a 4 hour drive from Austin.  It's a bit too far from the Cape though.

isn't there a song about Abilene?
something about the people there not treating you mean?

not sure...brandon, can you sing for us?

there is!

mind like a steel trap I tell you.
A steel trap full of useless crap, actually.

i think your mind has a better search engine algorithm than google.

and the two of you combined are a deadly force!

thanks for the plug. hope your firing goes well. it's about a 3.5 hour drive. in my younger more reckless days i did in 3.
it is a bit of a hike but you can throw some pots in the wood kiln from time to time if you like, we go to austin several times a year.

abilene is definitely not the prettiest town i've ever seen.

you're welcome. sorry about the little jab at abilene...i know nothing about it but after philly, dc and austin i couldn't help it.

i do look forward to checking out abilene at some point...maybe one day when you're teaching i'll swing by and take a look at your "new" kiln for about 6-7 hours. :-)

if i can't steal you're kiln at least maybe you will sing for abigail?

good luck this weekend. those pots look great!
